FCBA will be dedicated first and foremost to player development through practice, training and high-level competition.
FCBA will provide a positive environment where players learn and develop from their mistakes, while also having fun being kids along the way.
FCBA will train players to play and be comfortable in multiple positions on the court, encouraging every player to shoot, pass, dribble, rebound and play defense in both practices and games — no players will be limited to non-shooting support roles.
FCBA coaches will determine playing time based on a combination of performance, effort, and practice. Neither organizational politics nor external factors will govern basketball decisions.
FCBA will not recruit over existing players during the season.
FCBA will participate in high-level tournaments with top competition. We will not schedule games and/or tournaments just to fill the calendar.
FCBA supports a healthy balance between basketball and life away from basketball to achieve optimal results in both.
FCBA will create a culture of respect and hold all players, coaches and parents to a high standard of conduct through a “we over
FCBA coaches and leadership will maintain an open door policy for all players and their families.
